He holds a degree in Bachelor’s of Science in Metallurgical Engieneering graduated in 1986. He started his career in the mining industry in 1986. Joel Geronimo worked for several international mining companies namely BHP, Randgold Resources, Bemagold, Centerragold, Apex Silver and European Minerals. Since February 2010 he is the Chief Metallurgist of JSC AK Altynalmas.
